Draftkings Cash Game Options

Week 2 of the NFL season is already here. Last week’s games were low scoring and lethargic. It was hard to win without one of the high scoring defenses. Let’s hope this week is a little more exciting. Some high total games are on tap. Some possible cash game plays on Draftkings. Cash games you are looking for safety and upside.

Quarterbacks

Dree Brees ($7700) or Tom Brady ($7900). These two quarterbacks face off after bad week 1 performances. Both teams have terrible defenses. The over/under for this game is 57. Let the Fireworks begin!

Running back

Ty Montgomery $5800- Rookie Tarik Cohen lit up the Atlanta defense in week 1, who going back to last season has been dreadful against pass-catching running backs.
Jacquizz Rodgers ($4800) Tough matchup against a tough Bear’s defense but with Doug Martin suspended and the projected workload he should pay off his price tag. Per Evan Silva Match-up article on Rotoworld.com, “The Bucs will start Jacquizz Rodgers at tailback with Doug Martin suspended until Week 5. Across five 2016 starts, Rodgers averaged 23.4 touches for 105.2 yards per game, although passing-game specialist Charles Sims played in only one of those and is now 100%.”
Top RB 1 options Ezekiel Eliot ($7400) and Le’Veon Bell ($9800) Kareem Hunt ($6800)

Wide Receivers-Julio Jones ($9200) and Tyreek Hill ($6200) Jordy Nelson ($7900)

Value wide receivers both benefiting from injuries who should see an uptick in targets. With Allen Robinson sidelines Marquise Lee ($3800) should be looked at it. Although the splits show Blake Bortles has worse yards per attempt 4.91 with Allen Robinson out of the lineup. The other value wide receiver to consider is JJ Nelson of the Arizona Cardinals going up against a bad Colts secondary. At just $3800, he should benefit with both John Brown and David Johnson being out.

Defense

Baltimore Ravens ($3700) going against a Cleveland team with a rookie quarterback who is playing his first game on the road. Cleveland is only projected to score 15.5 points.

Seattle Seahawks ($4000) against San Francisco 49ers team that struggles to move the ball and is only projected to score 14 points.
